About Us

Christl Denecke previously practiced law at two large, national firms where she represented pharmaceutical and technology companies in complex, multi-million-dollar litigations. In 2010, Christl left the world of big-firm law and shifted her focus to a more personal, client-oriented practice.

Christl holds a J.D. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a B.A. in biology from Princeton University. She comes from a family of lawyers, including her father, aunt, and cousin. Christl is the granddaughter of Arno Denecke, former Chief Justice of the Oregon State Supreme Court.

Outside of her law practice, Christl volunteers her time for local charitable organizations, including the Junior League of Palo Alto/Mid-Peninsula, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, Doggie Protective Services, and the Community Garden at Congregation Beth Am.
